This research analyzes the relationship between anxiety levels and academic motivation in 37 morning shift students enrolled in the Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) program at Keiser University, Managua Campus. A quantitative, cross-sectional, and correlational approach was used, employing the Beck Anxiety Inventory and the Academic Motivation Scale. Mild (45.95%) and moderate (35.14%) levels of anxiety were identified. Analysis using Spearman's rho coefficient demonstrated a significant moderate positive correlation (0.687) between general anxiety and intrinsic motivation, while no correlation was found with extrinsic motivation. Therefore, it is concluded that anxiety functions as an adaptive activator in university life, and workshops on anxiety self-regulation and strategies to motivate students are recommended.</mods:abstract><mods:classification authority="lcc">Psychology [BF]</mods:classification><mods:classification authority="lcc">Affection.
