        <dc:description>El estudio tiene por objetivo evaluar la relación que existe entre el uso problemático de las redes sociales y el control inhibitorio en 30 estudiantes de Comunicaciones Integradas a Marketing que cursaron la clase de Microeconomía durante el período de mayo de 2026, en Keiser University, Latin American Campus, Managua, mediante un enfoque cuantitativo, no experimental, de corte transversal y de alcance descriptivo-correlacional, aplicando la Escala de Adicción a Redes Sociales de Bergen y el test Stroop (evaluando la interferencia) con el uso de estadística descriptiva e inferencial. Los resultados indican que existe relación negativa estadísticamente significativa de baja magnitud entre el uso problemático de redes sociales y el control&#13;
Inhibitorio, es decir, que a mayor uso problemático de redes sociales, menor control inhibitorio.&#13;

The objective of this study is to evaluate the relationship between problematic social media use and inhibitory control in 30 Integrated Communication and Marketing students who took a Microeconomics course during May 2026 at Keiser University, Latin American Campus, Managua. A quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, and descriptive-correlational approach was used, applying the Bergen Social Media Addiction Scale and the Stroop test (to assess interference), with descriptive and inferential statistical analyses. The results indicate a statistically significant, albeit weak, negative relationship between problematic social media use and inhibitory control; that is, greater problematic social media use is associated with lower inhibitory control.</dc:description>
