It also analyzes the process of intellectual recolonization undertaken by a generation of poets and intellectuals from Granada, based on three fundamental pillars: Catholicism, mestizaje (racial and cultural mixing), and the Spanish language, thereby suppressing or rendering invisible the ethnic and cultural diversity of Indigenous and Afro-descendant identities.
